Hi Attic PMC,

>From the discussion on privacy@[1] and JIRA[2][3] it seems like there was
general agreement to allow me to update retired project sites to remove
Google Analytics (GA).

Hervé indicated in the following message that I could be given the commit
bit in several ways:
   https://lists.apache.org/thread/nm9mp1cy8lnhgnp3q7dp1rt64dbqblxd

I'm happy with any of the options Hervé listed - can we make progress on
access/permissions, so I can get started?

My plan at the moment is something along the following lines:
1) Create "entered-asf-attic" svn tags for any repos being changed
2) Commit the patches to subversion listed in ATTIC-230[3] to remove GA
3) Look into fixing the source of the projects in ATTIC-230 so that if the
sites are ever re-generated GA doesn't come back (some project's source may
be in GitHub)
4) Review Retired Project Websites to see which (if any) don't render well
since the CSP was implemented and try to fix
5) Ask Infra to allow updates to Attic projects in GitHub. Initially this
will be those GitHub repos listed in ATTIC-234 [2], but there may be some
additional ones to either A) fix the source for GA and B) Fix any site
rendering issues found
6) Create "entered-asf-attic" GitHub tags for any repos being changed
7) Commit the changes to GitHub repos listed in ATTIC-234[2] to remove GA
(I can create PRs for review once the repos are no longer "Read Only")
8) Apply changes to GitHub repos to fix any sources for GA and resolve any
retired project site rendering issues

Thanks

Niall
