Summary: Site build does not allow for removal of xdocs source
files

The site build process does not currently allow for the possibility of removing
an xdocs source file. Only additions and changes are correctly reflected in the
build output.
This may need to be fixed in both the local build file (build.sh) and the
automated build script.
