Hi, I have a few questions about the Gears Geolocation API that hopefully somebody can shed some light on:
1. Is anyone using this API for commercial applications? 2. Any idea of how many cell tower IDs are available in the API? 3. We're specifically looking for the number of cell IDs within the following MCCs: 310 (US), 302 (Canada), 334 (Mexico), 704 (Guatemala), 712 (Costa Rica), and 740 (Ecuador). Just some rough estimates would be nice. Our application uses various GSM modems that don't have GPS, but have access to cell tower information. We'd like to pinpoint them with a reasonable level of accuracy, but understand the limitations of this approach. If Gears isn't the right answer have you worked with any other API providers that you can recommend? Thanks in advance, Dennis
