Hi Shahrukh, Have you tried using the DXF_WRITE_HATCH configuration option documented https://gdal.org/drivers/vector/dxf.html?
For me, the following command creates a DXF that includes the elevations of individual vertices on the linestring: ogr2ogr HKNW.dxf HKNW.kml --config DXF_WRITE_HATCH FALSE This is a common pain point for users of the DXF driver. We might need to improve this part of the documentation, or consider changing the default value of DXF_WRITE_HATCH from TRUE to FALSE.
