Looks like updating libnetcdf...or perhaps not netcdf won't play nice with hdf5-1.12.1 till 4.9 dist release <https://github.com/Unidata/netcdf-c/issues/2166> so drop netcdf for now. And have to figure out turning off DODs, but wow, spotting a missing space, I'd have to perl that or something.
