Hi, Just thinking that while updating pieces of a massive target raster file with several simultaneous writers could probably be doable and make sense with coverage data like dtm, the advantage is not as great with raster maps and aerial/satellite image mosaics which need also overviews for effective practical use. I guess that piecewise automatic updating of overviews could be somewhat complicated thing to implement.
