All, I¹m using GDAL (1.9dev r22508) and getting errors only when reprojecting (raster or vector) to any of the Google Mercator projections. On a number of linux boxes I have, this works fine, but, on a couple its a problem. The only difference on the problem boxes that I can see is that they have the configuration files for vertical datum reprojection and are using external libgeotiff (svn r2002) for use with libLAS and PDAL. Reprojection using either the epsg codes or the full proj string fails.
