Dear all, Those of you who will be attending IGARSS 2010 (July 25-30 in Honolulu) may be interested in the following tutorial:
"HD-2: Pragmatic Remote Sensing: A Hands-on Approach to Processing" (http://www.igarss10.org). It will be given on Sunday, July 25, 08:30 - 12:30 and will present in detail the different steps of a general remote sensing image processing chain through a hands-on approach. The free and open source software Monteverdi (user friendly application based on the Orfeo Toolbox) will be used for the work. Orfeo Toolbox and Monteverdi (http://www.orfeo-toolbox.org) rely heavily on other open source projects, such as gdal, ossim and others, to provide processing capabilities for satellite images.
