Folks, we have a place for this material and I am constantly badgering people to use it. All the training material, courses, papers, presentations, pictures of design-on-a-napkin, are meant to be linked from http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/GettingStarted. The wiki has become one of the most dynamic and best sources of such information in GCC. Let's use it! Uday, you have a wealth of experience organizing tutorials and such. Volunteers should not just be limited to code. Tutorials and courses are an excellent way to contribute. The steering committee has nothing to do with this. All they need to be involved in are administrivia matters with the FSF. No need to appoint volunteers, just start doing what you think is right. Organizing the GettingStarted wiki is a fantastic start. Diego.
