Hi,

 From http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc/2009-08/msg00066.html
I get that 4.3.5 should come out after 4.4.2, however, 4.4.2 has come
and gone (with 4.4.3) and no 4.3.5.

Any ideas when this is going to be released?

When enough useful changes have accumulated. I expect to do
4.3.5 shortly after 4.5.0 is out.

I don't see the point for 4.(x-2) as soon as 4.x gets into bugfixing mode only (old stage 3, now stage 2).

At that point:

- bugs that are still open but fixed in other branches or in trunk should be analyzed, and either have the fix backported or closed as WONTFIX

- a final release is made

- after that, just tell people to use an svn checkout if they're interested in 4.(x-2)
