Is there perhaps a nice, noble, brave, honest, handsome, heroic,
sweetly-smelling driver or global maintainer out there who could help me out
by reviewing my patch(*) that makes the --static-libstdc++ option exposed to
back-end spec strings, before that happens? :-)
