In order to be able to anayze this (and either confirm or refute a possible libtool bug), I would like to see the './libtool --mode=link' command that fails, plus all of its output with --debug added as first argument; further the output of ./libtool --tag=TAG --config with TAG replaced by the tag used for the link.
