Because it is not a pass that is run by default, it is not receiving active maintenance and the cost/benefit of doing it pre-merge is lower than fixing the pass post-merge. If that is a problem, we can keep delaying the merge until it's fixed, of course. I don't know how long will that take, I've got a partial patch that does it, but it needs some TLC, so it should be a few days. If I'm the one to finish it, though, it will have to wait until the 3rd week of August, as I will be traveling until then. Diego.
