may have additional tips for you.
Harvey, what version of git-svn is required to get the more compact
*cough*sane*cough* metadata format?
Also check out ~bernie/bin/git-update-toolchain.sh on gcc.gnu.org.
This is what I intended to use to do the update. I made it group
writable so you and Harvey can tweak it as needed.
