There are two spots I could find in ifcvt.c:
/* Convert "if (test) foo++" into "foo += (test != 0)", and
similarly for "foo--". */
and
/* Convert "if (test) x = 0;" to "x &= -(test == 0);" */
Would a patch such as the following be acceptable?
