Hi, I would like to implement a type-based operator (like sizeof, alignof, etc.) for mingw32 / cygwin targets, which allows to interprete type-based attributes. For DCOM support it would be helpful to have the __uuidof (type) returning the string reference provided by a type-attribute uuid ("a guid"). Is there allready an mechanism in gcc to do this ? Or, what would be the best approach for that ?
