This question would be more appropriate for the [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list than for the gcc mailing list. The gcc mailing list is for gcc developers. Unfortunately support for the Intel i960 was dropped in gcc 4.0. There is no way to generate i960 code with a recent gcc release. Ian
