svn diff -r1:r2 is only slow in the very small diff case, where ssh handshake time dominates the amount of data to be transferred. Even then, if you do it as svn diff -r1:r2 svn://<path>, it will work faster than cvs. Yes, you do have to get used to doing things differently. This is just a fact of switching. --Dan
