I didn't intend to put that follow-on project onto
<https://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/SummerOfCode> (..., unless this would be good
"for Google reasons" -- Martin?): at the high level, you (Arijit) and I
are already aligned on what should be done, so I'm looking forward to:
