I agree with Jakub that there’s no specific reason to single out 32b Darwin, 
there are plenty of other 32b hosts -  (it’s just that I bothered to try 
testing it there and reported issues?).

However - let’s straighten out the comment above - the last macOS system 
supporting 32bit applications was 10.14 with the last release July 2021.  I 
know that there are serious vendors out there building for 10.13 (last released 
Nov 2020), so I continue to test GCC on that version.
