I used Daniel S. Wilkerson's delta from http://www.cs.berkeley.edu/~dsw/ and succeeded in reducing my test case enough to file bug 23599. [4.0 Regression] Flag -fstrict-aliasing corrupts iterators http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=23599 Thanks!
