Well, I'm not sure. If the report is closed, then you're right. However, if the report is not closed, then I think it often happens that people who will prepare a patch will look into the report, even with the comments from a bugmaster. I know I do it that way, and I know other people more knowledgeable of GCC tham me do it that way too. When I find a bugmaster's comment incorrect, I say it for the record. I think you'd need to be more careful in your generalization. -- Gaby
