There were two bugs that caused KDE miscompilations. Neither is specific
to C++. When you said "wrong-code regression in C++" I thought you had a
C++ specific bug in mind (e.g. the pointer-to-member one).
OK, so I was unclear.
In future, would you please take the time to ask me to clarify the
situation rather than jumping to conclusions?
