please omit the default args to dg-xfail-if/dg-skip/if ({ "*" } { "" }) here and in several other testcases: they have been unnecessary for quite some time. Also, please include an explanation why you are xfailing/skipping the test in the comment field so others can understand what's happening and eventually add their targets to the list if appropriate.
