No, this case is the entire point of -Wno-narrowing.
I was suggesting that we ignore -Wno-narrowing *for a constant value*,
but i is not a constant-expression.
Oops, sorry, I read your reply, then got distracted and when I got back
to work I fooled myself into thinking that somehow check_narrowing was
already leaving non-constants alone. Probably the fact that current
clang gives an hard error for the above too, also played a role...
Anyway, the below actually handles constants and non-constants
separately. How does it look? (in the meanwhile also found a
libstdc++-v3 line which needs adjustment)
