You can send them, but I don't propose to review them outside stage 1 (clearly such major new features are only suitable for mainline commit in stage 1), and given how it's likely that such patches may interact and that comments from review of one patch may point out things you need to fix in later patches as well, it's not clear how useful sending a long patch series at one go will be. -- Joseph S.
