macOS 27 (Golden Gate) corresponds to darwin27. Previously, macOS 26 was darwin25, and darwin26 never existed. We need to adapt the driver to this new numbering scheme.
Tested on aarch64-apple-darwin27 (since darwin27 does not support x86_64 anymore). OK to push? FX
