I had a fresh look at this, as i also discared this option early on, but i can not realy remember why. While bootstrap is still out-standing, i may have a working patch for ordered TYPE_FIELDS. dg.exp just ran through without extreme tests. I would iterate once more about my changes, and propose them as a series together with the required reflection changes to make use of it. If everything keeps together and nothing explodes into my face. Thomas
