This popped up when I was about to push, so I did not push yet. The last thing I want to do is interfere with the release process, so apologies for pushing the backport for PR116035 yesterday. I will wait with this patch for the GCC 14.2 release, rebase/retest and push then, unless the release manager or maintainers propose another procedure.
