PR target/115618: can we back port the fix to GCC 13?

Hi Andrew,

I’ve tested the fix for PR 115618 from your commit r14-6612-g8d30107455f230 on 
the GCC 13 branch.
I’d like to back port it to that branch.
Is there any problem with that I should be aware of?
It applies cleanly and tests fine.
