To reproduce:

$ cd {build_dir}/gcc && make check RUNTESTFLAGS="dg.exp=gcc.dg/lower-subreg-1.c 
--target_board='unix{-m32}'"
$ cd {build_dir}/gcc && make check RUNTESTFLAGS="dg.exp=gcc.dg/lower-subreg-1.c 
--target_board='unix{-m32\ -march=cascadelake}'"
