This fixes the failure on powerpc-apple-darwin9 (see http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-testresults/2012-02/msg01809.html ). The fix is a little bit brutal since two loops are vectorized on powerpc-apple-darwin9, but I don't think a refined test is worth the trouble. Unless someone complains in the coming day, I think you can consider your patch as approved. Thanks, Dominique
