You might want to check this thread https://gcc.gnu.org/ml/libstdc++/2015-04/msg00104.html which is specially useful when creating multilibs with and without exceptions and enabling linker's sections garbage collection. Maybe you could commit the change for both uncaught_exception and uncaught_exceptions?
