I this issue has been raised by two people earlier, but there has been no
response on their
threads -
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-bugs/1997-12/msg00185.html
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-bugs/1998-08/msg00032.html
And I am facing the same problem...
I am running following version /configuration of gcc on alphaev56-dec-osf5.1
box -
Reading specs from
/usr/local/gcc-3.2.1-eth/lib/gcc-lib/alphaev56-dec-osf5.1/3.2.1/specs
Configured with: ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/gcc-3.2.1-eth
--enable-languages=c,c++
--disable-nls --enable-threads
Thread model: single
gcc version 3.2.1
when I compile code with a -g flag, mips-tfile fails throwing "String too big"
error.
Do we have a resolution / workaround for this problem ? Or is it that I am
going wrong some where
??
Thanks -AJ
