The v2 patch is on gcc-patches: https://gcc.gnu.org/pipermail/gcc-patches/2026-August/729351.html I t keeps the change inside the DEFAULT_LIBC == LIBC_MUSL block, so glibc is unaffected. This was the concern with the 2023 attempt. If this matches what Gentoo carries, any review or test result on the list would be helpful.
