When I change it to arch=apxf (which makes no sense since it isn't an
architecture) it gives
ta.c:2:5: error: bad value ‘apxf’ for ‘target("arch=")’ attribute
2 | int foo(int i)
| ^~~
ta.c:2:5: note: valid arguments to ‘target("arch=")’ attribute are: nocona, ...
