Our current code for "parity", does not do anything newer than ISA 2.05 (so,
p6),
and is mostly ISA 2.02 even, so p5.
popcntd is an ISA 2.07 (p8) insn. But that is 12 years old already as well,
maybe we should finally make good use of its new insns? :-)
