I'm having the same problem trying to build gcc on sco 3.2 5.0.6 i386 It appears there's an unmatched "#ifndef __GNUC__" at line 618 The file was generated from configure with the following command: ../configure --prefix=/usr/gnu --with-gnu-as --with-as=/usr/gnu/bin/as --enable-shared -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=17995
