[Bug java/18281] New: Backslashes in CLASSPATH cause jc1 to hang

[grude at tfh-berlin dot de]

If gcj is called while the environment variable CLASSPATH contains backslashes 
instead of slashes, jc1 (called by gcj) hangs without any error message. Could 
gcj/jc1 be made "backslash tolerant"?
