Discussed briefly in the patchwork meeting. Given this is golang + tsan it's
just not high on anyone's priority list. It's not even clear where the real
issue is -- kernel, sanitier libraries, compiler, etc.
GCC is a downstream consumer of the thread sanitizer library. It looks like
the last sync point was late 2024. That's critical as various RISC-V Golang
tsan bits were landing in upstream tsan in early 2025 and more in the summer of
2025.
So probably the thing that needs to happen is someone needs to update GCC's
tsan library. It's not an area I'm familiar with. Kito did the last update.
Maybe he'll do another update for gcc-16 release cycle :-)
