I think -m32 and -m64 have been there since the original port we inherited from Honza, but we have no intention of supporting 32-bit hosts (the GPU has a mode where it uses 32-bit pointers, for compatibility with the host, which we do not support). If -mgomp does anything I don't know what it is.... compatibility with other offload backends maybe? mkoffload sets that flag, but as far as I can tell nothing reads it.
