FYI, there was still active development of transition to multithreading on
ARMv4T devices around 2024:
https://github.com/devkitPro/libnds/releases/tag/v2.0.0. It would rely on the
correct code to be emitted by the builtins.
I agree this might be out of the interest of major markets and the library
approach is preferable, though. Any other PR to make the tracking of such
issues easier?
