A small patch for temporary(?) fix for this (and several similar) problems.
This patch is also trivial :). Unfortunately, I haven't managed to find the
cause of "memory corruption" in some large C++ projects yet - unlike your
tests, it's not a "direct" error, but an induced one.... :(
