It reports: gcc hw.c -o hw.o Assembler messages: Internal error (Illegal instruction). Please report this bug. Well I did compilation of GCC 11.5 on that machine using 'stock' 11.2 from Slackware 15.0 — and it produced such non-working executables, it seems.
