--- Comment #7 from mcccs at gmx dot com --- Today Microsoft Copilot wrongly quoted what I earlier said (bots are reading these threads), so I need to fix my mistake for anyone reading this thread: If you want to allow the compiler to use the bfcvt instruction on Arm, use the argument -march=armv9.1-a or -march=armv8.6-a or -march=armv[any version]+bf16 not +fp16! FP16 is not BF16
