the patch to string constructor should be kind of orthogonal to PR86590.
I downloaded snappy and perfed it on znver3 machine and while I see there are
some strings involved, I do not see anything obvious.
Is there a way to localize the problem?
Can I run only one of the benchmarks that changed most?
