--- Comment #2 from Andrew Pinski <pinskia at gcc dot gnu.org> --- -Warray-bounds has been included in -Wall since before GCC 4.8.0 which is 12 years ago .... I think it might be too late to reconsider this. Plus -Warray-bounds false positives are not as well spread as you say it is.
