r15-3530 was backported to 14 branch for 14.3.0. And this worked in GCC 14.1.0
and 14.2.0 (I checked even with --enable-checking=yes) which does make this a
P1 candidate in my mind but it is up to the C++ front-end and release managers
to decide.
