See also https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/help-texinfo/2024-03/msg00033.html There was a proposal to recommend a newet version of texinfo that has this warning fixed, and to mention on the gcc page that old versions of texinfo may throw wrong warnings for correct texi files.
