--- Comment #21 from Eli Schwartz <eschwartz93 at gmail dot com> --- I think that it makes sense to install this, for the same reason that one would wish to install the "gcc" symlink. If the user only has a single supported GCC version, this is a benefit. If the user has multiple versions, the user already has to wrangle and retarget symlinks to the preferred provider (possibly via a script such as Gentoo's "eselect gcc").
